The Saint James The Less Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry serves the liturgical life of the parish by supporting the prayer of the assembly through sacred music. Rooted in the Church’s call to the
full, conscious, and active participation of the faithful, our ministry helps lift hearts and voices in worship, recognizing that
a song is twice a prayer.
Our music program includes:
- Vocal Ensemble serving the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass
- Children’s Choir participating in special and/or occasional liturgical celebrations
- Guest instrumentalists and vocal ringers who enhance major feast days and parish events
The Music Ministry also supports special liturgical celebrations throughout the year and proudly presented a
Christmas Concert last season as a gift to the parish community.
Rehearsals:
- Sundays: After Mass
- Saturdays: Before Mass (on selected dates)
Who Can Join
All ages and all levels of musicianship are welcome.
No audition is required. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or wish to grow in your musical gifts, there is a place for you in this ministry.
For more information or to get involved, please see our
Music Director Ellen Estallo in the choir loft after Mass.
The Knights of Columbus Council 6336
The Knights of Columbus Council 6336 is an active fraternity of Catholic men dedicated to faith, service, and community. They embody our parish motto,
“We foster love by example,” through civic involvement and aid to those in need.
Founded in 1882 by Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney, the Knights of Columbus has grown into the world’s largest Catholic fraternal organization. Often called the Church’s
“strong right arm,” the Knights support families, advance Catholic education, and provide assistance to those in need.
Here in our parish, Council 6336 continues this legacy—supporting ministries, organizing community outreach, and offering fellowship that helps men live their faith with purpose.
An Invitation to Get Involved
If you are a Catholic man (18 or older) looking to deepen your faith, serve others, and join a community of supportive brothers, we invite you to consider joining Council 6336.

The Saint James Columbiettes
The Saint James Columbiettes are an active group of Catholic women dedicated to faith, service, and community. They embody our parish motto, “We foster love by example,” through outreach, fellowship, and charitable works that uplift those in need.
In collaboration with our Brother Knights, the Columbiettes contribute their time, talents, and compassion to a wide range of parish and community initiatives. Their efforts reflect a shared commitment to living the Gospel through service and solidarity.
Each year, the Columbiettes support meaningful causes such as Soles for Souls and Life Choices, as well as “Pennies from Heaven,” which aids seminarians and postulants. They also provide scholarships to local students, helping to invest in the future of our community.
To sustain these works, the Columbiettes organize several annual fundraisers, including their twice-yearly clothing drive, annual soup sales, and their beloved Annual Tea Party. They also foster fellowship through shared celebrations, such as a Christmas gathering with the Knights and support of the Lenten Fish Fries.
United in purpose, they work together, pray together, and support one another in faith and friendship.
An Invitation to Get Involved
If you are looking to deepen your faith, serve others, and build lasting friendships within a supportive community, we invite you to consider joining the Saint James Columbiettes.
